Strategies, in plain words.

Each one explained with its exact rules, its risks and a backtest with fees. Try any of them on paper, then make it your own.

How to use these strategies

Each strategy here is a set of plain-language rules you can run as an agent: when to buy, how much, when to sell, and the limits that stop a bad run from becoming a large loss. They are starting points, not recommendations. TradeCorgi does not tell you what to trade; it helps you test and run the rules you choose.

Every strategy page shows the rules as an agent tag, explains each rule and why it is there, walks through a worked example with numbers, and is honest about when the strategy tends to work and when it fails. Where we show a backtest, it includes fees and slippage, states its period, shows the worst drop at the same size as the result, and is labelled illustrative until a real, dated run replaces it.

To try one, use the prompt on the page or describe your own version in chat. Your Corgi turns it into a strategy card, asks for anything missing such as a stop rule, and backtests it on your exchange with its fees. Every agent then runs on paper with live prices before it can trade real money, and every change you make starts on paper again.

If you are choosing between the two most common approaches, read the comparison of dollar-cost averaging and buying the dip before you start.

Beyond dip buying and DCA, you will find a guarded grid for sideways markets and short-term scalping rules, each with guardrails that keep losses bounded.
