Risk disclosure
Last updated October 27, 2026.
Crypto is volatile and agents can lose money. Past results do not predict future results. Please read this before you connect an exchange.
You can lose money
Crypto prices can move sharply in minutes. Any strategy, however well tested, can lose some or all of the money an agent uses. Only use money you can afford to lose.
Backtests and paper results are not predictions
Backtests apply your rules to past prices and include the fees and slippage we model. Real fills can be worse, especially in fast markets, and the future will not repeat the past. Paper agents use live prices but no real orders, so they never face real liquidity.
Limits reduce risk; they do not remove it
A stop-loss or daily loss limit is checked before every order, but a price can jump past it, and a market order can fill at a worse price. A paused agent still holds its open positions unless you choose "Pause and close".
Technology can fail
Software errors, outages, stale prices, network delays and exchange API changes can stop an agent or delay an order. Agents pause themselves in many of these cases, but not every failure can be detected in time.
Exchange risk
Your funds are held by your exchange, not by TradeCorgi. An exchange can freeze withdrawals, change its rules, stop serving your country or fail. Choose your exchange carefully.
Rules and taxes
Laws on crypto and automated trading differ by country and change. You are responsible for following the rules where you live and for paying your taxes. In India, for example, tax deducted at source applies to many crypto trades.
No advice
TradeCorgi does not give investment, tax or legal advice. Every strategy is your own, and you decide whether to run it.
