We hold your rules, never your money.

An AI trading agent is only useful if you can trust it with real money. This is how TradeCorgi keeps every agent on a leash you hold.

How every agent is kept safe

Your money never leaves your exchange

  • TradeCorgi never holds your funds. Agents trade on your own exchange account.
  • We accept trade-only API keys. A key with withdrawal permission is rejected when you connect it, and again on every daily check.
  • Where the exchange supports it, your key works only from TradeCorgi server addresses (IP whitelisting).

Keys are locked away

  • Each key is encrypted with a managed key unique to you.
  • It is decrypted only inside the service that places orders, never anywhere else.

The AI never places orders

  • The language model drafts your strategy card and explains what happened. It cannot trade.
  • A rules engine with no AI in it runs only the card version you confirmed, and checks your limits before every order.
  • Every order carries its card version and a unique ID, so a restart can never send it twice.

Limits it cannot cross

  • No agent runs without a budget, a stop-loss, a daily loss limit and a maximum number of open positions.
  • Platform limits nobody can switch off: no leverage, no averaging down beyond 2 entries, and no checking the market more than once a minute.
  • In its first week, a live agent can use at most 20% of the amount you plan.

It stops itself

  • When the daily loss limit is hit.
  • When an exchange key fails.
  • When prices are more than 2 minutes old.
  • During exchange maintenance.
  • When its positions do not match what the exchange reports.
  • You are told which one, in plain words.

One tap stops everything.

Every agent screen has a kill switch. "Pause" stops new trades. "Pause and close" also sells open positions at market price. Try it here; nothing is sent anywhere.

What TradeCorgi will never do

  • Hold or move your money
  • Accept a key that can withdraw
  • Trade outside a card version you confirmed
  • Use leverage
  • Promise returns or show results without their period and worst drop
  • Sell trade ideas or rank traders by profit
  • Give investment advice: every strategy is your own

Safety questions

Can an agent lose money?

Yes. Crypto is volatile and any strategy can lose. Limits cap how much an agent can lose in a day and per trade, but they cannot prevent losses. Start on paper and go live with an amount you can afford to lose.

What if TradeCorgi goes down?

Your funds stay on your exchange. Agents pause when prices are stale or the exchange cannot be reached, and you are told why. Open positions stay on your exchange account, where you can manage them yourself.

Can I revoke access?

Yes. Disconnect the exchange in TradeCorgi, or delete the API key on your exchange at any time. Either stops all trading through TradeCorgi.
